The IDeaL Education Foundation’s annual fundraiser has transformed into a virtual celebration showcasing the important role hope plays in inspiring the next generation of black scholars.
Join us on February 24 at 6:30 pm for 45 mins of entertainment, inspiring stories, and a look into how the IDeaL Education Foundation is transforming lives through innovative scholarships and mentoring opportunities for minority males in the greater Chicago area.
We are thrilled to award over $22,000 in scholarships thanks to your donations and those of our generous sponsors. Your financial sacrifices make it possible for students to pursue their dreams and professional passions. They assist with purchasing textbooks that our students so desperately need to excel academically, or it assists with making that rent payment in the absence of which a student might find himself homeless. Every dollar you give makes a difference in the lives of our young people and for that, they and we are forever grateful.

The IDeaL Education Foundation is a 501c3 tax-exempt charitable initiative dedicated to providing financial resources to enhance the educational development of young minority males from communities within the greater Chicagoland area.
Each year, the IDeaL Education Foundation awards scholarships to high-achieving young black high school students. The Foundation has been serving and impacting the Chicagoland community since its founding in 1992, awarding over $175,000 in scholarships and providing community grants to organizations such as the Chicago Literacy Alliance. In addition to the annual scholarship program, the Foundation also provides a number of mentorship opportunities across Chicago’s south and west sides from our flagship mentoring program at Leo High School to Dolton’s Cub Scout Pack & Boy Scout Troop 350.
